This site is nearly 10 years old having started off its life as a personal web on CompuServe, before moving to its current domain www.huntingdon-town.info because that is what it is "information about the town of Huntingdon". This record of change has been reset as part of the major renovation that commenced in April 2009 when the site was converted to XHTML and ASP (Active Server page). Not all this work is yet complete, we expect that to take until late summer 2009.

The location and contact details of hundreds of the town centre businesses and organisations in Huntingdon have been uploaded to the website along with pictures of many of them. We will get pictures of the those that are missing as time and the weather, sunny days, permit. |

Major Upgrade Complete |

The technical, behind the scenes, upgrade of the Huntingdon Town website is now complete and most of the pages now operate from a huge enterprise standard SQL database. We will now get on with making lots of additions to the site facilitated by these new systems. |

The entire Huntingdon Town Website is being redesigned and at the same time a massive range of new service and facilities is being added with businesses and other organisations who are active across the district being linked to the other town websites that we maintain. |
